Our history

Hove OOD is located in Muselievo, 42 km north of the town of Pleven (north-central Bulgaria)

Its initial business was to purchase fruit and produce fermented fruit purees, exporting the entire output to Austria. The company mostly purchases ripe apricots with high sugar content from the areas around the towns of Tutrakan and Silistra in northeastern Bulgaria. Hove has gained the reputation of one of the biggest apricot buyers in Bulgaria in recent years, purchasing between 500 and 1,000 tons of apricots a year.

Over the years, the company’s owners have focused strongly on producing well fermented purees, ensuring the production of flavorful distillates.

Nowadays

Hove OOD is managed by Margarita Kuzmanova and a team of young enthusiasts at this time.

Combining the experience gained in the past with innovation we purchase and process plums, cherries, peers, quinces, various varieties of grapes, and high-altitude raspberries.

The company’s portfolio is expanded with new products and activities every year to meet our clients’ needs.

Every year, Hove OOD concludes contracts for quantities of fruit purees and distillates with its clients and delivers the contracted quantities in the course of the season. We are pleased to note that the number of our clients is rising over time and our market is expanding

To close our production cycle, we are increasingly relying on our own production of plums, peers, quinces and grapes.
